The peonies preserved within this one-of-a-kind botanical piece were grown by Wildlight Botanical Studio, beginning as bulbs planted and tended through the growing season before being harvested, preserved, arranged, and transformed into the finished artwork.
Rather than pressing every bloom flat, the composition celebrates the dimensional character of the flowers themselves. Peonies and complementary botanicals rise organically from the clear surface, creating depth, texture, and shadows that shift as the light changes around the piece.
Deep plum and violet blooms mingle with soft cream, blush, warm golden botanicals, graceful stems, and foliage, all surrounded by an irregular gilded edge.
